Chilly fall days and a pumpkin night

The chilly fall weather rolled in early this year and our family enjoyed the refreshing change.  Donning jackets we spent afternoons outside as a family.

That night was pumpkin carving night.  We had hoped to accomplish it all outside, but it was too darn chilly!
Of course, Daddy got the major pumpkin carving duties...Brant picked out the design and Henry, Grandma and I watched.  Henry enjoyed getting his hands mucky and exploring the new feels and smells.

Pumpkin insides are squishy!

oooohhh...quite the jack o'lantern face!
Of course, trying to get a photo of the boys, in the dark...well, this is as good as it got!
